President Obama’s 4-year-old dog, Sunny, bit a family friend in the face on Monday, according to a report by TMZ.
As Reported by Western Journalism:
During a visit to the White House, the unidentified 18-year-old woman went down to pet and kiss Sunny when the female Portuguese water dog bit her on the face, TMZ reported, citing “sources connected to the girl.”
Sunny’s bite “left a nasty gash” under the young woman’s right eye, the report said.
The Daily Mail reported the woman posted a photo on social media showing her on a doctor’s chair while Obama’s 18-year-old daughter, Malia, smiles nearby.
The caption of the photo reportedly reads, “I f—ing hate Sunny.”
Portuguese water dogs are not known for being aggressive in family situations.
Sunny is the younger of the first family’s two dogs. Eight-year-old Bo, known as the “first dog,” is also a Portuguese water dog.
