BREAKING: “Enough Is Enough!” Sources Say NBA Start Dwyane Wade Will Endorse Trump After His Cousin Was Shot And Killed This Week In Chicago In Another Senseless Killing.
According to a story in The Christian Times:
NBA star Dwyane Wade’s cousin was an innocent bystander, police said, pushing her baby in a stroller near a Chicago school where she intended to register her children when she was fatally shot Friday.
Nykea Aldridge’s famous relative, who grew up in Chicago’s south suburbs, tweeted to his nearly 6 million followers about her death, saying Friday it was an “act of senseless gun violence” and posting Saturday morning that Chicago needs “more help & more hands on deck.” Wade ended both days of tweets with the hashtag “EnoughIsEnough.”
Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump has spoken about the city’s violence, and tweeted about Aldridge’s death Saturday morning. He first posted, “Dwyane Wade’s cousin was just shot and killed walking her baby in Chicago. Just what I have been saying. African-Americans will VOTE TRUMP!,” and then tweeted, “My condolences to Dwyane Wade and his family, on the loss of Nykea Aldridge. They are in my thoughts and prayers.”
Now, sources close to the campaign are reporting that Wade will be endorsing Donald Trump’s campaign following the fatal shooting.
“It will be coming this week,” one operative told a group of reporters outside Trump HQ in New York on Monday afternoon.
“This will be a very big endorsement for the Trump campaign, and we are excited to welcome Mr. Wade and his fans on-board!” the operative said.
Wade’s endorsement will solidify one of the main talking points of Trump’s campaign over the past few weeks: that African-American voters are tired of the failed policies of the Obama-Clinton team, and they are ready for policies that grow their communities and keep them safe.
“What in the hell do you have to lose?” Trump has asked African-Americans over the past several weeks, as he has painted a dire picture of life in minority communities and referred specifically to gun violence in Chicago.
Like Donald Trump, it appears that Dwyane Wade is saying enough is enough!
